New Phương Đông Club in Hải Châu, Da Nang

New Phương Đông is one of the longest-running nightclubs in Da Nang, at 20 Dong Da in Hai Chau District, sharing its street number with the New Orient Hotel Danang and the same owner, Huu Thanh Co. Ltd. Travel guides call it one of the largest and oldest clubs in Vietnam: around 2,000 square metres, room for more than 1,000 guests, and a big central stage with lasers and LED screens. The room fills almost every night, with DJs alternating with guest singers and bands.

Also known as: New Phương Đông Nightclub.

Where is New Phương Đông? Address and opening hours

The club is at 20 Dong Da, on the border of the former Thuan Phuoc and Thach Thang wards in Hai Chau District, a few minutes by taxi from the Han River and inside the grounds of the New Orient Hotel. The official website newphuongdong.club is no longer reachable; travel guides consistently list 20:00 – 03:00 nightly, but no official channel confirms this, so call before you go. The room usually fills from around 22:00.

Music and the kind of night

New Phương Đông runs a classic big-club format: a DJ plays every night on the central stage, alternating with local bands and guest singers, and occasionally a special night with a well-known artist — one guide's photos show singer Dam Vinh Hung performing here. One listing describes the music as house, deep house, funk and bass, but the venue does not publish a fixed genre; in practice it is mainstream party music that follows the crowd.

Space and lighting

According to travel guides, the main floor covers around 2,000 square metres with a multi-level central stage, a laser rig, LED screens and water-spray effects, backed by a powerful sound system. The space is described as grand, lively and packed — a large hall facing the stage rather than an intimate lounge. That is why New Phương Đông suits big groups who want the energy of a crowd more than a private corner.

Seating areas

The venue does not publish named table tiers on its public channels. Based on guide descriptions, seating consists of tables around the central stage, large-group tables sold with combos, and a VIP service area. Groups wanting to be near the stage or in a private area should book ahead and say so; the exact spot and any conditions are confirmed by the venue when the booking comes in through Nightclub.com.vn.

Nights and occasions

The venue does not post a fixed weekly programme on any channel we could access; nights with famous singers are held by occasion and announced on the official Facebook page. So choose by purpose: Friday and Saturday for the busiest crowd, birthdays and group parties with a large table, or guest nights when the venue announces them. The latest schedule is on the New Phương Đông Club Facebook page.

Dress code and age

No dress code is published; one listing simply suggests dressing for a club. Keep it tidy and avoid flip-flops and sportswear. The venue has not published an age limit on its public channels; Nightclub.com.vn only takes bookings for guests aged 18 and over and recommends carrying ID when going out at night in Da Nang.

Photos of New Phương Đông

This page does not yet carry its own photo set of the venue. Based on guide descriptions, the signature images of New Phương Đông are the multi-level central stage under lasers and LED screens, a packed floor facing the stage, water-spray effects at the peak of the night, and nights with well-known singers performing. Official photos and videos of the latest nights are on the venue's New Phương Đông Club Facebook page.

Reviews of New Phương Đông

New Phương Đông holds 4.3 stars from more than 2,300 reviews on Google Maps. It gets mentioned for a scale rare in central Vietnam, its stage and lighting rig, and more than twenty years in business that make it the familiar nightclub for many Da Nang locals. The usual note is that weekend nights are very busy and loud. Nightclub.com.vn also records reviews from guests who booked through the platform and actually came — see the Reviews block below.

New Phương Đông menu

The venue does not publish a printed menu on the channels we could access. According to travel guides, the menu is organised as table sets and group combos, from a basic set for a small group to large sets for a big table, with drinks and light bites; soft drinks and mocktails are ordered individually. The latest detailed menu is sent by Zalo or hotline when you book through Nightclub.com.vn, so your group can plan ahead.
