The 10 best bars in Vung Tau for 2026, from Back Beach to Front Beach

88 Beer Garden at 151 Thuy Van opens at 5 PM and closes at 11:45 PM. Leave the three rooftops aside and nothing on this list opens earlier, which makes it a natural first stop. It has two parts. Inside is a tall main hall with a mirror ball and a central stage backed by an LED screen. Outside is a garden lined with palm trees and light trees, where you sit in the breeze off Back Beach. The kitchen is open from the afternoon, so dinner and the show happen in one place.

From around 8 PM the stage fills with DJs, singers, dancers and street performers, and the music mixes EDM, Vinahouse, remixes and live sets. Oasky 36 is a restaurant and rooftop on the 36th floor of the Oasky residential tower (Son Thinh 2) at 2 Le Hong Phong, directly opposite Tam Thang tower and a short way from the Thuy Van seafront. Some travel sites call it the largest rooftop in the city. The venue-managed Google Maps profile lists 4 PM to midnight daily, but other sources disagree and one review says it only opens on weekends, so call before heading up, especially on a weekday. Between about 4 and 5 PM the sky turns orange-red, the best light for photos.

There are three ways to sit: air-conditioned tables indoors, outdoor tables along the railing facing the sea and the city, and a VIP room for groups who want privacy. Music is soft in the early evening; according to Mytour, a DJ takes over from 10 PM, with acoustic sets on weekends. It is a lounge with a restaurant, not a club with a big dance floor. Most people come up for the sunset, and one guest suggests arriving around 4:30 PM. The hotel group's site promises live music as daylight fades; one Thursday visitor found a band singing and dancing between roughly 8 PM and 10 PM, and Saturdays bring a DJ, though the schedule can change. Seating is mainly sofas around the pool. The evening wind is strong, so bring a light layer and ask for a sheltered spot if you need one. If you are not staying at the hotel, ask about the conditions for using the roof when you book. LOX and The 9 on Hoang Hoa Tham are a few minutes away for the next stop.

UNIC Lounge is at 151 Thuy Van (151B on its fanpage), on the Back Beach seafront. It shares the street number with 88 Beer Garden but is a separate venue with a different look and different hours, so name UNIC clearly when you book or call a ride; the entrance is fairly dark, so have the map open as you arrive. Open since 2 September 2022, it has a spaceship-style interior of soft curves and color-changing LEDs, with a mezzanine looking down on a T-shaped stage, and holds roughly 100 to 120 guests. Google Maps lists 8:30 PM to 3 AM daily; the fanpage says doors open from 7 PM.

Early in the evening it works as a restaurant with a band, and later it turns into a lounge with resident DJs, MCs and the SLady dance crew. The music covers EDM, house and hip-hop, alongside acoustic and live sets. The venue runs theme nights for occasions such as Songkran, Halloween and Christmas, takes birthdays and party-style wedding celebrations, and its fanpage often tags posts LGBTQ+. Tables ring the stage, and the mezzanine is the spot for an overhead view. Weeknights are fairly quiet, so go on a Friday or Saturday for a full room.

Choose The 9 Live House on Hoang Hoa Tham (number 12/1) for an evening with music but no pressure to dance. The house band, The 9 Band, plays twice a night, and a DJ keeps things moving in the break. The round stage sits at the heart of the room beneath a large ring of lights, and tables circle it, so every seat is close to the musicians. Copper red and gold foil set the color scheme.

It is open 8 PM to midnight. The DJ warms up from 8:30 PM and the first band set begins near 9:30 PM. The most requested seats are the high tables on the edge of the stage. Tell the venue about a birthday beforehand and the band will announce the name live. Note that this is a separate venue from LOX next door.

FLUX Club opened at 15A Ly Tu Trong on 24 August 2026. It sits in the middle of the central quarter, a few minutes on foot from Front Beach, surrounded by places to eat and stay. New C2 Beach Lounge stands at 94 Ha Long Street, facing the road that runs along Front Beach. The building used to be Vitamin C2. Its “Golden Hour” look uses chrome gold and flame orange, with several tiers of oval light rings on the ceiling, red lasers cutting across the room and a DJ booth in the middle where the crowd gathers. The music covers EDM, Vinahouse, remixes and hip-hop.

It opens 8 PM to 2 AM and gets busy after 10 PM. Ha Long Street is lined with seafront hotels, so the lounge draws a crowd even on weeknights.
