Vung Tau nightlife 2026: top 6 clubs near the beaches

LOX Vung Tau, at 12B Hoang Hoa Tham, is the full-on dance club of the Front Beach area. Its theme is the “Sound Sphere”: a vertically striped sphere as the logo, equalizer bars along the walls, and flame orange and flag red on a warm black base. The stage stands at the heart of the room, so tables surround it on every side and nobody gets pushed into a dark corner. The space is roomy enough for a group of two or three as well as a large party, and the crowd is mostly young people and travellers. The club runs a free pick-up and drop-off service within a 5 km radius, which saves you sorting out a ride if your hotel is a little way from the centre. Dress smartly to suit the club atmosphere.

UNIC Lounge is at 151 Thuy Van on the Back Beach seafront, the only venue in this guide away from the Front Beach side, so allow for a ride if you are coming from Hoang Hoa Tham. The 151 block is shared with 88 Beer Garden, an entirely separate venue, and UNIC's entrance is fairly dark, so keep the map open and use the exact name when you arrive. Running since September 2022, it opens 8:30 PM to 3 AM, the latest close of the six. Inside, the look is a spaceship cabin: curved walls, color-shifting LEDs, lasers sweeping the ceiling and a mezzanine above a T-shaped stage, with tables set in a ring around it. Capacity is roughly 100 to 120 guests, so think mid-sized lounge rather than a big hall.

The evening changes shape as it goes: early on it works like a restaurant with a band, and later the resident DJs take the booth together with MCs and the SLady dance crew. Expect EDM, house and hip-hop, with the occasional acoustic set. UNIC thrives on themed nights, such as a Multicolor Show at Tet, a Songkran water-gun party, Halloween, Christmas and a countdown, and it hosts birthdays as well as party-style weddings. Weeknights are quiet, so go on a Friday, a Saturday or a programmed night for a full room. Casual but neat clothing is fine; people dress up more for events.

The 9 Live House sits right next to LOX at 12/1 Hoang Hoa Tham, yet it is a completely different night out. This is a live-music room: the resident band, The 9 Band, performs two sets each evening, and a DJ fills the gap between them. A round stage takes the center of the room under a huge ring of concentric lights, the image behind the venue's “Ring of Nine” identity. Red copper and gold foil tones make it feel warmer than a typical club.

Hours are 8 PM to midnight. The DJ starts at 8:30 PM and the band's first set comes on around 9:30 PM, so arrive before then for a seat near the stage. High tables at the stage edge put you closest to the musicians, and groups of eight or more can take a long table. Book a birthday in advance and the band will call out the name from the stage.

FLUX Club, at 15A Ly Tu Trong, opened on 24 August 2026 and is the newest name in Vung Tau's club scene. Its idea is “never standing still”, told in sky blue on black, a clear break from the orange, red and gold that most seaside venues use. The stage and DJ booth form the focal point of the room. The music is EDM, Vinahouse and remixes, and the DJ and MC kick off the main show at around 10 PM.

FLUX opens at 8 PM every night, weekends and holidays included. Because it is new, the guest schedule is still settling, so ask about guest nights when you book. Tidy streetwear is fine here, which makes it the easiest of the three to walk into after dinner.

New C2 Beach Lounge sits at 94 Ha Long Street, on the road that hugs Front Beach, where most of Vung Tau's seafront hotels are lined up, so many guests simply stroll over. The space used to be Vitamin C2. Its theme is “Golden Hour”: chrome gold and flame orange on warm black, a ceiling of oval light rings stacked in tiers, red lasers cutting across the room, and the DJ booth placed dead centre so the crowd gathers around it rather than facing one wall.

It opens 8 PM to 2 AM every night, holidays included, and resident DJs play EDM, Vinahouse and remixes with some hip-hop, while theme and guest nights are posted ahead on the venue's page. Because it sits among the hotels, New C2 does not depend on the weekend alone and still draws guests midweek. There are four ways to sit: high tables at the floor rim, VIP tables turned towards the booth, a run of lounge sofas taking eight to fifteen people, and a private party area.
