Joe's Cafe sits at 86 Nguyen Dinh Chieu in Mui Ne Ward (Ham Tien Ward before 1 July 2025), inside the grounds of Joe's Cafe & Garden Resort, next to the resort's pool and bungalows. Don't let the word “Cafe” fool you: in the evening this is a live music bar, one of the oldest on the Mui Ne strip, and it has kept the same style for years. You sit at tables rather than on a dance floor, and it usually closes somewhere between midnight and one in the morning.

A rock band plays live almost every night and starts earlier than the clubs warm up, which makes Joe's a natural first stop. The set list mixes Vietnamese rock with Western songs, and a Vietnamese singer performs each evening. Most of the crowd are international travellers, and the room suits listening and talking more than dancing. Nirvana and New 68 are on the same road at numbers 122 and 122A, so moving on afterwards is easy.

Nirvana Beach Club at 122 Nguyen Dinh Chieu, Mui Ne Ward, is the former Line Up Bar, so if you are searching for Line Up, this is the place. It is regarded as the longest-running club in Mui Ne and has hosted touring DJs from abroad. The open-air space sits right at the water's edge, with beanbags, swings and a corner for watching the sunset. It opens from 9:30 AM to 1 AM, and the kitchen serves grilled seafood and Western dishes, so you can come for dinner and stay late.

The resident DJ, a familiar face in Mui Ne, starts at around nine in the evening with commercial hits and remixes that suit big groups. Around that come live shows, acoustic sessions, parties on the sand, fire performances and countdown nights on holidays, and at weekends a photographer takes pictures of guests on site. The crowd mixes Vietnamese and foreign guests, and it is a favourite with Mui Ne's international visitors. New 68 Club is just a few doors away, so you can walk between the two.

At number 1 Dao Tan, Octopus Chill Garden is a garden spot and not a club, as the words “Chill Garden” suggest. The outdoor space has plenty of greenery and soft lighting, and the music stays low enough to hold a conversation. Many evenings feature light live music. There is no dance floor. Dao Tan is close to the main roads of central Phan Thiet, yet the street itself is quieter, which suits this kind of place.

New 68 Club, also known on social media as Club 68 or New Club 68, is at 122A Nguyen Dinh Chieu in Mui Ne Ward, a few doors from Nirvana Beach Club. Unlike the two beach clubs on the same road, it is an enclosed indoor club with a serious investment in sound and lighting and a wide dance floor under colored lights. It runs from 7 PM to 2 AM and serves food throughout the evening.

Vinahouse is the main sound. DJs and dancers work the room every night, with performances and special events in between, and at weekends the club often brings in well-known guest DJs. Most of the crowd are young locals, which makes it the most Vietnamese night out on the Mui Ne strip, a clear contrast with Mantra or Joe's Cafe, where foreign travellers make up most of the room. It has been described as one of the pioneering clubs on the Mui Ne nightlife row.

A3 Plus is on Ton Duc Thang Street in Phu Thuy Ward, the main road heading to the sea, a short drive from the beach. Binh Thuan travel sites call it the biggest club in the city. Its “Neon Dynasty” theme pairs ribbon-style gold with lantern-red neon on black. Large LED walls line both sides of the hall, the LED ceiling runs patterns, and the DJ booth sits under a pyramid-shaped LED block, with the dance floor in the middle.

It opens 7 PM to 3 AM and gets busy from 9 PM, when the DJ, MC and dancers take over the stage. The main sound is EDM, House, Vinahouse and hip-hop, plus named nights such as Ladies Night, Latin Night, RnB Party and Retro Night. VIP tables facing the pyramid fill first, and tour groups can book a private party area. It has no link to the similarly named venues in Saigon and Hanoi.

Mantra Mui Ne Beach Club is at 138 Nguyen Dinh Chieu, Mui Ne Ward (formerly Ham Tien Ward), and describes itself as an underground club in boho style right on the edge of the sea. The counter sits next to the white sand and the space opens straight onto the beach, so you can arrive for sunset and stay as the party starts; upstairs, a terrace with seating looks out over the water. The décor is boho-tribal, with handmade pieces and moon motifs. Listed hours are 5 PM to 2 AM. A 2026 nightlife guide calls it the newest full-scale club in Mui Ne, founded by a Vietnamese DJ who has performed abroad.

Music is what sets it apart: tribal, Afro House, melodic techno, progressive, tech house, indie dance and disco house, with resident DJs alternating with guests; in May 2026 it also hosted a night of drum and bass and UK garage. The recurring calendar includes Full Moon Party, Black Party, White Party, Halloween, a Thursday Ladies Night and international DJ nights. It is busiest on promoted event nights, and the crowd is mostly travellers, along with Mui Ne's expat community, artists and young locals.
