One whole wall is an LED screen; when it flashes bright, everyone on the floor becomes a silhouette, which is the image you will see in most photos from here. Rings of light hang from a bare concrete ceiling, and low platforms in the middle of the floor get climbed on as the night goes on. The music is fast: EDM, Trap, Hip-hop and Vinahouse.

The crowd mixes travellers, overseas Vietnamese and locals. On weekend evenings Bui Vien turns pedestrian-only, so your Grab will leave you at one end or on Tran Hung Dao for the last stretch on foot. We do not yet hold confirmed opening hours for this club; our team checks them for your date when you book.

Fetti Social Club is at 20 Nguyen Cong Tru, a street of finance offices that goes quiet after dark, so stopping a car is easy. It is small, around 100 guests, and styled like a fashion shoot in deep crimson and ivory, with a photobooth for groups. Open 8pm to 2am, it works as the middle stop of a night: lively enough to get up and dance, calm enough at the table to keep talking. Ben Thanh Market is about seven minutes away on foot.

The soundtrack is pop-house, disco-funk and sing-along festival anthems, under the house slogan Not just festival, it's fettival. The week has a Ladies Night, Fettival Sunday with confetti dropping every hour, and seasonal guest DJs. With so few tables, book ahead: sofas for two to four people up to a VIP sofa for birthdays.

Sạc Station occupies number 6 Tran Hung Dao, where this long avenue begins in District 1. It is not a single room but an open-air courtyard on several levels, framed in scaffolding steel and covered in neon, with real trees wrapped in string lights growing up through the floor. Open 4pm to 2am every day, holidays included, it suits the opening leg of a night: come after work, share a few plates or a group combo, and stay as the place fills.

Live music and DJs start once it gets dark, and weekends get crowded late. The wide frontage makes pick-up and drop-off easier than in the lanes around Bui Vien. Long tables seat four to eight, there are tables beside the stage, and a VIP area can be decorated for birthdays.

Song Bar takes the 40th floor, the top of Hilton Saigon at 11 Me Linh Square near the river, making it the highest venue in this guide. It opens 2pm to midnight every day. Floor-to-ceiling glass wraps the room with views over the river and skyline, while the interior stays warm with wood panelling, velvet chairs and sculptural lamps. For dinner, Residence Eleven is one floor down.

On Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays a Jazz Night begins at 9pm, with a singer taking requests. Early evening is quiet, so a window table at sunset is easy to get. It suits couples and small groups who want to sit high above the city; back at street level, Kén Skybar, The Enigma Mansion and ROS line nearby Ton Duc Thang.

Bodega Saigon hides at 2 Thi Sach, a small side street near Hai Ba Trung within easy walking distance of Dong Khoi; from the Nguyen Hue walking street allow about seven minutes. It is a true speakeasy. The street front is an old-style convenience store with shelves and warm yellow light, and you walk through it to reach the club: a long, narrow room under a polished metal ceiling of large panels cut with concentric rings and edged in LED.

Doors open just three nights a week, Tuesday, Friday and Saturday, between 10pm and 4am. Expect Melodic Techno and Trance most of the time, some nights of EDM, Hip-hop or R&B, and a Ladies Night. Thi Sach is a small street and there is no big sign, so follow the street number.

B40 shares the start of Tran Hung Dao with Sạc Station, at number 12-14. It recreates a Vietnamese street market under one roof, all reds and yellows, string lights, street-vendor carts, conical hats and graphics borrowed from old grocery packaging. The kitchen cooks pavement favourites with more care than a street stall and plates them for sharing; order the beef salad and it comes capped with a whole puffed sesame rice cracker for the table to crack. Doors open at 6pm and close at 4am.

After dinner the room turns into a party: a host runs Lo To and other folk games that the whole place joins, and on some nights DJs play EDM, House and Hip-hop. It holds roughly 100 to 150 people, dress is casual, and there are private areas and rooms for bigger groups.

The Wann occupies 74-76 Nam Ky Khoi Nghia, the same avenue as Bam Bam and Volar. It opens at 6pm and can host all three stages of a night: dinner from a fusion menu of more than 100 Asian and European dishes, such as grilled Fuji beef, Hong Kong-style roast pigeon and glass noodles with crab, plus seafood and a vegetarian menu; then a slower lounge hour; then a dance floor towards midnight. It closes at 2am.

Two floors hold about 300 people: dining and stage tables downstairs, sofas upstairs looking down on the stage, and a private VIP room. The dance floor has LED panels under glass, backed by a panoramic LED wall. DJs play EDM, House, Hip-hop and Techno. Cards are accepted, VAT invoices are issued and there is parking.

Up on level 26 of Riverfront Financial Centre, at 3A-3B Ton Duc Thang, Kén Skybar sits on the riverside avenue near Bach Dang wharf, a short walk from the Nguyen Hue walking street. Where most rooftops look inland, Kén faces the water, taking in the curve of the Saigon River with both banks lit up. The terrace is open to the sky, with no roof overhead, and banana palms lit green from below ring the tables.

It opens at 5pm and closes at 2am, Tuesday to Sunday; Monday is its day off. A separate menu of light dishes covers an early-evening bite. Most tables face outward, and the riverside tables for two to six go first at dusk, so arrive about half an hour before sunset.

Jackalope is at 56 Pho Duc Chinh, in the old Nguyen Thai Binh ward. Google Maps lists 4pm to 12:30am daily with an offer from 4pm to 7pm; older sources differ, so check if you plan to arrive near closing. The style is Modern Rustic: wood walls, yellow light, leather seats, neon signs, a long bar where drinks are made in front of you, and an upstairs seating area.

There is no dance floor; classic tracks play in the background, early evenings are quiet and it fills up later. Solo guests sit at the bar to chat, couples ask for upstairs. The menu changes monthly and there is pizza if you are hungry. Jackalope makes an easy first stop before The Arth or Bam Bam in the same neighbourhood.

Volar's address, 61 Nam Ky Khoi Nghia, puts it on one avenue with The Wann and Bam Bam, so hopping between the three in one night is easy. Look up first: a curved dome holds hundreds of pendant lights hung at different heights, like a forest of light. A vertical LED wall stands at the centre of the room, a handwritten Volar neon sign glows on the side wall, and amber light falls over deep oxblood red.

Volar's calling card is its live show nights: singers and DJs take the centre of the floor while seats wrap around them, so most tables can see. We do not yet have confirmed opening hours for Volar; our team confirms the times for your date when you book.

Rooftop Grand Lounge belongs to Hotel Grand Saigon and sits on the 20th floor of number 8 Dong Khoi, at the river end of the street like the Majestic. It runs 6am to midnight without a break, from breakfast through afternoon tea, served 1pm to 6pm, to dinner. There are covered and open-air seats looking down Dong Khoi, along the river and out to the skyline.

From Thursday to Sunday a live set plays between 8pm and 10pm, soft and warm, better for a river-view dinner than a party. Arrive before 6pm to catch sunset. A suggested plan: dinner up here, the music until 10pm, then walk up Dong Khoi to Layla or Yunka, or turn onto Thi Sach if the group wants to dance.

Angels' Share is on the first floor in alley 178 Pasteur, up the stairs on the left side of the lane, looking across at House of Merlin. It opens 6pm to 2am daily, with the final orders taken around 1:15am to 1:30am. The ceiling steps up in tiers over warm lights and wooden shelving behind the bar, beside a Nighthawks-style night-street painting; parties of fewer than six can claim one of two private nooks.

This is the second bar from the Rabbit Hole team, and since May 2026 it also serves its sister bar's familiar mixed-drink list. Live jazz runs from 8:30pm to 11:30pm on selected nights, and which nights shifts every few weeks. Food is only light bites, so eat at House of Merlin opposite and then cross the alley, a two-stop plan without stepping onto the street. Dress is smart casual.

D-Rave Club SGN, often written Drave, is at 21 Ham Nghi, the avenue from Ben Thanh Market to the river that it shares with Zion Sky. Its signature is a 360-degree ring of light circling the whole dance floor and pulsing in time with the music. Nothing separates the DJ booth, the floor and the tables, so everyone ends up in one crowd under a deep red glow. Doors open at 10pm and close at 3am.

Musically, D-Rave sticks to Urban Groove, its own label for hip-hop, R&B and urban remixes. Friday is K-Pop Night, Saturday brings Bass Bomb and Sunday closes the week with D-Rave All Star. From the street, look for a long red LED band and a big screen across the frontage.

Astrix Saigon occupies floor 14 of the HDTC tower, 36 Bui Thi Xuan, on a street that runs from Cach Mang Thang Tam towards Pham Ngu Lao. There is no sign at street level: walk into the lobby, ask reception and take the lift. Because it sits inside an office tower, almost everyone who comes has planned to. Open every day from 9pm to 3am, it works well as the bridge between dinner and a late club, high enough for a city view and loud enough to warm up.

A large disc hangs from the ceiling, its LED bars spreading out like spokes and throwing red-orange light onto the DJ booth beneath it, set at floor level. The music runs from Melodic Techno to House. Sofas for four to eight look out over the city. Running late? Call ahead, because a table can be released 15 minutes after the booking time.

Palmora Saigon is at 18 Nguyen Cu Trinh, between Tran Hung Dao and Nguyen Trai, a mostly residential block with restaurants that stays calmer than the streets around Ben Thanh Market and makes stopping a car easy. It opens at 6pm and closes at 2am, and it is built for a long dinner: modern Vietnamese dishes, carefully plated, from a food menu you can browse on the venue page before you go.

Real coconut and fan palms grow up through the dining room beneath a curved dome of lit square lattice with a thatched edge. A stage and an LED screen fill the far wall. Long tables run in rows for about 200 guests, which is why company parties and big birthdays book here.

Weeknd SGN is at 66 Huynh Thuc Khang, the street between Ham Nghi and Nguyen Hue, about three minutes on foot from the walking street. It opened in 2025 and keeps an unusual schedule: Friday, Saturday and Sunday only, from 10pm to 5am. Along with PAPI on Le Loi, it is one of the two latest finishes near the walking street in this guide, and the short week means every night it does open is a busy one.

The music is hip-hop first, with R&B and a themed pop-up show each week. The room, built for about 300, has a raw street-grunge look with exposed ducts and moving-head lights; at peak hour the floor is packed and confetti falls from the ceiling. Dress smartly.

Hai Bar opened on 26 June 2026, taking the 23rd floor of Sheraton Saigon Grand Opera at 88 Dong Khoi, near the Opera House; its name is a pun on “hai, ba”, two-three in Vietnamese, and “high bar”. It opens 5pm to 1am. The bar is open to the breeze and looks towards the Opera House front, the twin spires of Notre-Dame Cathedral and, further off, the river and Ba Son Bridge.

The list holds 23 signature drinks, each borrowing a flavour from one part of the country: northern spices, herbs from the central strip, southern fruit. Dress is smart casual, with no flip-flops or beachwear. Open until 1am in the middle of Dong Khoi, it pairs well with Yunka a few doors away or Saigon Saigon on the Caravelle roof; it is new, so no music schedule has been published yet.

APLUS Saigon is at number 492 on Vo Van Kiet, the canal-side boulevard, close to the foot of Nguyen Van Cu Bridge; from Ben Thanh Market it is roughly a five-minute drive, and at night the tall LED screen on the front gives it away. It opens 8pm to 4am every night and fills from around 11pm. Cars and motorbikes park on site under cover.

The second APLUS after APLUS Hanoi, it opened in January 2026 and debuted at No.59 in DJ Mag's Top 100 Clubs that same year. Techno takes the themed nights, House and Tech House the rest, under a moving LED rig of wing-shaped panels. As a last stop running to 4am, it suits groups who eat around Ben Thanh and then ride over; dress is smart casual at minimum.
