1900 Le Théâtre sits at 8B Ta Hien, the liveliest late-night street in the Old Quarter. The building opened in the early 20th century as the Quang Lac theatre, became Hanoi Roxy in the 1990s and reopened as a club in 2016. Weeknd Hanoi is a small hip-hop club in the Cua Nam area of Hoan Kiem, a five-to-seven-minute walk from the lake and the Old Quarter. It holds around 200 people. Around it hang paper lanterns, a small shrine roof edged in red lights and ukiyo-e paper fans, and the staff wear happi coats. The Player is at 9A Tong Duy Tan (some listings say No. 9), the late-opening food street on the edge of the Old Quarter, in what was Hang Bong Ward until July 2025, only a few doors from Nê. The room mixes speakeasy and lounge: dark tones, amber light spilling from wooden shelves, leather sofas, and stools along the counter where you can watch the bartenders work. Top.U takes up level three of the OCD building at 8 O Cho Dua, Dong Da, near the six-way junction; its own page calls it “Tren Lau TopU”, roughly “upstairs at TopU”. It runs more like a theatre than a club. Every night is a named show with a DJ, an MC and dancers, and big holidays get a whole week of special shows.
