The address is 41-43 Nam Ky Khoi Nghia in District 1, among the office towers behind Ben Thanh Market, around seven minutes on foot from the market. Hours are 7pm to 2am, the earliest start among the hip-hop clubs in this guide, though the crowd really arrives after 10pm. DJs play live every night, mostly hip-hop along with whatever is trending.

Instead of steel and glass you get thatch, bamboo, palms and warm red light. The main floor faces a wall of squares lit from behind like a glowing grid, a gold mirror ball hangs overhead, and the DJ booth sits low, at the same level as the dancers. Confetti nights and the Ladies Night series are when the sofas facing the DJ go first.

If your night is on Bui Vien, Hair Of The Dog Club Saigon is right on the strip at 194 Bui Vien, District 1, with venues on every side, so it fits easily into a night of moving from place to place. The music is quick and loud: EDM, trap, hip-hop and Vinahouse, changing character from one set to the next. On the floor you will meet Vietnamese locals, overseas Vietnamese and plenty of travellers staying in the backpacker quarter.

One whole wall is an LED screen, and when it flares the dancers in front turn into silhouettes. The bare concrete ceiling holds rings of LED light, and thick haze makes every beam visible. Bui Vien closes to traffic during weekend walking-street hours, so get dropped at the top of the street or on Tran Hung Dao. Opening hours are confirmed when you book.

Fetti Social Club is a compact lounge for roughly 100 guests at 20 Nguyen Cong Tru, District 1, on a street of finance offices behind Ben Thanh Market. The offices empty out in the evening, so stopping a car is easy. It opens from 8pm to 2am. Its slogan, Not just festival, it's fettival, explains the approach: a festival mood in a room small enough that your group can still hear each other talk.

Deep crimson and ivory make the room look like a fashion magazine spread, and there is a photobooth corner. The music leans to pop-house, disco-funk and festival anthems. There is a Ladies Night during the week, Fettival Sunday drops confetti every hour, and guest DJs from Vietnam and abroad appear by season. Tables are limited, so book early.

Sạc Station and B40 share the start of Tran Hung Dao on the Ben Thanh side; Sạc is at number 6, Ben Thanh Ward, District 1, within walking distance of Pham Ngu Lao. It is an open-air food and music venue, open from 4pm to 2am every day, holidays included. In the late afternoon it serves sharing plates and group sets; after dark, live music and DJs take over. Sạc means charge in Vietnamese, as in a place to recharge after work.

There is no real ceiling: the venue is an open courtyard with steel scaffolding rising several levels, a front covered in neon signs and raw concrete walls. Real trees grow out of the floor wrapped in string lights, and red and green wooden tables sit close together. On Friday and Saturday nights, the tables near the performance area are the first to go.

303 Garden Station is one of the furthest venues from the centre, at 303 Pham Van Dong in Go Vap (Hanh Thong Ward), on the avenue heading toward Thu Duc and the airport. If you are based in Binh Thanh, Go Vap or Thu Duc, it is quicker to reach than District 1; from central District 1, allow about twenty minutes late at night. It opens from 3pm to midnight, the same early start as CLAY and Malt. Afternoons are spent in a leafy garden, then the indoor lounge gets louder and busier.

The logo puts a bright green 303 inside a hexagon with a gold edge, and the same green comes back in the programmable LED lighting after dark. The food is made for sharing: small plates, seafood, grills and combos for several people. The VIP area takes 10 to 20 guests, and the multi-lane avenue makes arriving by car easy.

Saxophonist Tran Manh Tuan opened Saxn'Art Club (also spelled Sax n' Art) in 2005, and it now lives at BB4, alley 188 Nguyen Van Huong, An Khanh Ward, in Thao Dien; the 28 Le Loi address you may see in older guides is the former site. It opens on just three nights, Friday, Saturday and Sunday, from 8:30pm to 11pm, and the shows listed on its website run from 9pm to 11pm. The lane is wide enough to park a car.

Every night carries its own programme name, from straight-ahead jazz, bebop and fusion to evenings of Trinh Cong Son songs, and Tran Manh Tuan usually plays himself with a piano, bass and drums band. Jam sessions, open-mic nights and international guest players also feature. The room is dim with good acoustics and small tables around the stage. Show nights require a booking, especially when a guest artist is on.

Bodega Saigon is the only speakeasy in this guide with a club floor. From the street at 2 Thi Sach, District 1, near Hai Ba Trung and Dong Khoi, it looks like an old-fashioned grocery store with shelves and yellow light. Walk through the shop and the club appears behind it. It opens only three nights a week, Tuesday, Friday and Saturday, from 10pm to 4am. Look for the street number rather than a big sign.

The room is long and narrow under a polished metal ceiling split into large panels, each cut with rings and edged in LED, which reflects the floor and makes the space look deeper. Most nights are melodic techno and trance; some switch to EDM, hip-hop or R&B, and there is a Ladies Night too. With so few open nights, weekend tables should be booked several days ahead.

You will find B40 at 12-14 Tran Hung Dao in District 1, on the same stretch as Sạc Station. It is a Vietnamese eat-and-play venue open from 6pm to 4am, so you can have dinner and stay at the same table until nearly dawn. The room holds roughly 100 to 150 people, with tables spaced like a tidied-up pavement eatery, and the wide frontage makes it easy to get dropped off.

The decoration borrows from a night fair: red and yellow, strings of lights, street-vendor carts and conical hats. The kitchen reworks street favourites; the beef salad arrives under a whole puffed sesame rice cracker that you break yourself. Some nights a host runs Lo To, a traditional Vietnamese game, for the whole room; others bring DJs playing EDM, house and hip-hop. There is no dress code.

Three venues in this guide sit on the District 1 stretch of Nam Ky Khoi Nghia: Bam Bam, Volar and The Wann at 74-76, Saigon Ward. The Wann is a dining club, open from 6pm to 2am. In the early evening it is an Asian-European fusion restaurant with more than 100 dishes and a separate vegetarian menu; later the DJs take over and dinner tables become party tables. Two floors hold about 300 guests, plus a private VIP room.

The dance floor is glass with LEDs underneath, so whoever stands on it is lit from below. One wall is clad in off-white stone with cracked veins, and a panoramic LED screen runs visuals for each night. Music covers EDM, house, hip-hop and techno. Birthday tables get gold balloon letters, a neon sign and confetti. VAT invoices and parking are both available.

Kén Skybar is the highest venue in this guide and the other genuine rooftop besides Zion: 3A-3B Ton Duc Thang in District 1, level 26 of the Riverfront Financial Centre tower, near Bach Dang wharf and Ba Son. Unlike rooftops that look over the streets, Kén faces the bend of the Saigon River and the lights on both banks, and the terrace is open to the sky. It opens from 5pm to 2am, Tuesday to Sunday, and closes on Mondays.

The brand colour is plum, with a cream butterfly as the logo. Banana plants and palm fronds surround the tables, lit green from below. There are two menus, one of them for light food. Riverside tables and the sunset hour book out first, so if you want to watch the sun go down, arrive about half an hour early.

You will find Jackalope Bar at number 56 on Pho Duc Chinh, in Ben Thanh Ward; it is a small bar with extra seating upstairs. Google Maps lists 4pm to 12:30am daily; guests say it is quiet early in the evening and fills up gradually later on. In 2023 it was named among the concept bars of Vietnam Bar Week.

Raw wood, yellow light, leather chairs, a neon sign and a long counter where the bartender works right in front of you. The menu changes monthly, split into classics, modern twists and a signature list, and you can ask for something to match your mood. Background music sticks to timeless tracks, with no dance floor; upstairs is more private for couples. Solo travellers do well at the counter because the staff love a chat.

Volar, at 61 Nam Ky Khoi Nghia in District 1, is the newest of the clubs here built around a stage, and you can walk there from Nguyen Hue. Walls, seats and lights are nearly all the same deep red, and the logo is the word Volar in white handwriting. People come for the live show nights, when singers and DJs perform in the middle of the room with the crowd standing in a ring around them.

Look up and the curved ceiling holds hundreds of hanging bulbs at different lengths, like a forest of light. A vertical LED screen in the centre plays geometric patterns, and seats circle the floor so every table can see the act. Opening hours for each night are confirmed when you book. On show nights, the sofas around the stage go early.

On the Cho Lon side of the city, 909 Lumina Garden & Lounge sits at 909 Tran Hung Dao in District 5, about fifteen minutes by car from District 1. It has two sections, both open from 4pm to 3am. The Garden is the open-air half, calm enough for conversation, so people often arrive in the cooler late afternoon. The Lounge is the indoor half, air-conditioned with leather and velvet sofas, filling up from around 9pm. Plenty of groups start in the garden and walk a few steps inside when they want more volume.

The garden is styled like a fairy tale: concrete mushrooms taller than a person shade each cluster of tables, red blossoms cover the canopy, tiny lights hang like stars, and long wooden tables with benches seat a dozen or more. The Lounge is a tiered hall behind metal railings, with ceiling beams spreading out like a fan, a curved LED wall, and a glowing oval ring framing the stage. Birthday set-ups are common in both. When you book, say whether you want the Garden or the Lounge.

Angels' Share is one floor up in alley 178 Pasteur, Saigon Ward, directly opposite House of Merlin; the staircase is on your left as you walk in. The team behind Rabbit Hole opened it as their second project, and since Rabbit Hole closed for a break in May 2026 its familiar list has moved here. Doors are open 6pm to 2am daily, with final orders around 1:15am to 1:30am.

The name refers to the vapour that slips out of oak casks over long years of ageing, so the ceiling steps down in tiers like that slowly vanishing share, and wooden shelves hold cask-aged labels from Scotland, Japan, Taiwan and the US. A few nights a week there is live jazz from 8:30pm to 11:30pm, on a schedule that changes; otherwise the music stays low. Pairs take the counter, and groups under six have two private nooks. Smart casual; eat first, as the food is light.

Ham Nghi has two venues in this guide: Zion on the 14th floor and D-Rave Club SGN, often shortened to Drave, at number 21, Saigon Ward, District 1, close to Ben Thanh metro station. D-Rave plays what it calls Urban Groove: hip-hop, R&B and urban remixes. Each weekend night has a theme, with K-Pop Night on Friday, Bass Bomb on Saturday and D-Rave All Star on Sunday. Hours are 10pm to 3am.

The signature is a ring of light running the full 360 degrees around the dance floor and moving with the beat. There are no partitions, so booth, dance floor and seating merge into one open space. Red covers everything, including the frontage, where red LED trim and a large screen stand out from down the street. The crowd is mostly Gen Z and travellers.

Astrix Saigon is up on level 14 of the HDTC tower at 36 Bui Thi Xuan, District 1. There is no street entrance: go through the lobby and up in the lift, and ask reception on your first visit. It is an indoor lounge club rather than an open rooftop, open from 9pm to 3am daily, with sofas that look out over the city. The music runs from melodic techno to upbeat house on a digital sound system, with lights programmed to hit each beat.

A large disc hangs from the ceiling with LED bars fanning out like bicycle spokes, casting red-orange light down onto the DJ booth right below it, which sits at floor level. Polished metal walls multiply the light, so the room looks bigger than it is. Being high up, it makes no noise on the street and gets few walk-ins. Tables may be released if you are 15 minutes late without calling.

Palmora Saigon is at 18 Nguyen Cu Trinh in District 1, a street linking Tran Hung Dao and Nguyen Trai where houses and small restaurants keep the evenings calm and stopping a car is easy. It is a restaurant with a stage, open from 6pm to 2am: modern Vietnamese food first, then the stage and LED screens grow livelier as the night goes on. It seats about 200, and food has its own separate menu.

Real coconut and fan palms grow up between the tables, their leaves spreading over the diners. Above them is a curved dome woven in a square lattice with every square lit, and thatch along the edge. A wide LED screen at the far end can show an event name during private parties. Long tables set out in rows suit company dinners and large birthdays.

Weeknd SGN is a hip-hop club that exists only at the weekend: Friday, Saturday and Sunday, from 10pm to 5am. You will find it at 66 Huynh Thuc Khang in District 1, roughly three minutes on foot from Nguyen Hue walking street. It opened in 2025 and holds around 300 people. Hip-hop leads the programme, with R&B and popup shows that change theme each week.

The style is street grunge: exposed ducting and moving-head lights overhead, and a raised platform on the left where the MC keeps the crowd going. At peak, the floor is packed from that platform to the back wall, with pink and white glow sticks in the air and confetti falling from the ceiling. The venue lists its table tiers on its own page. Dress smart, and arrive early for a good place to stand.
