Pirates Club sits at 138 Ha Long Street in Bai Chay ward, in the middle of the tourist strip; on Google Maps the pin lands inside the Cong Doan Ha Long hotel compound, so giving a driver the hotel name is enough. The venue's own Google profile lists 9 AM to 2 AM every day: mornings and afternoons it works as a café, and only in the evening does it turn into a bar with a programme. The room is fitted out like a buccaneer's vessel, with barrels stacked in the corners, a helm, coiled rope, carved statues, an oddly shaped timber counter and low lighting, while the staff wear pirate costume. There is also an outdoor corner looking onto the street.

Unlike the four big dance floors on this list, the draw here is live singing. Reviewers on Google Maps say the singers usually come on around 10:30 PM and lean toward Western songs, and one even points people who are tired of Vinahouse this way. The hall plays EDM, remixes and hip-hop under lights that switch between red, green and purple. Seating comes in four forms: stools along the bar, tables in the middle of the hall facing the stage, tall-backed sofa booths along the green wall for groups wanting a little seclusion, and a separate singing room with a small platform, a microphone on a stand and songs picked from YouTube. That room lets keen singers and DJ fans share one night out. Cards are accepted, VAT invoices are available, and a reserved table is kept for 15 minutes after the agreed time.
