This is where you go for a big room, heavy sound and a large crowd. The second cluster wraps around Hoan Kiem Lake: Cosmos Club on Trang Tien, Weeknd Hanoi on Hang Bai, Block B on Ly Thuong Kiet, and Mid9 Club deeper inside the Old Quarter on Ma May. These rooms are smaller but walkable, easy to pair with dinner or a stroll through the old streets before heading in.
When the Hanoi night picks up
Despite the early-to-bed reputation Hanoi sometimes gets, every club on this list belongs to the late-night group. Cosmos Club states its hours plainly — 9pm to 2am, closed on Mondays — and regulars describe Hero Club as only truly peaking after midnight.
