New MDM Club is the big one. Open since September 2019 at Lot 26A Le Hong Phong in Gia Vien Ward, it spreads over three floors of roughly 1,000 square metres each, with more than 100 tables and between 500 and 1,000 guests on a typical night. The look is industrial: steel rigs loaded with moving-head lights, LED screens and beams cutting through haze. Because the floors are stacked, the lighting is designed to work up and down the room as well as across it.
